Project Life® by Stampin' UP!® Gift Boxes - Artisan WOW

Welcome back to Artisan Wednesday WOW! This week is our last blog hop post as the Stampin' UP! 2013-2014 Artisan Design Team!  Get the tissues out! What an AMAZING year it has been thanks to Stampin' Up! Not only has my biggest dream come true with being on a creative design team for Stampin' UP! but I now have 9 new BFF's forever! I am abundantly blessed! (tears streaming) I gotta get back to the post....
You just came from the uber talented scrapbooking icon Cathy Caines and next is my spiritual sister, the one and only Connie Collins, but before you do come check out my adorable Project Life® by Stampin' UP!® gift boxes! You might have seen them on Stampin' UP!'s Facebook Page last week!
I took the bold and fun patterns of 4x6 cards in the collection and cut them to the size of the kraft boxes. I  selected some of the 4x4 and 3x4 cards to add to each box. Some I cut down or punched out in a 2 1/2" circle or just folded in half. Just add some great ribbon, washi tape from the Playground Accessory Pack, and buttons to complete the look on each box. I did use the Star Framelits and Gift Bow Die Cut too.  Who knew Project Life® by Stampin’ Up!® could be more than memory keeping?

MDS Monday Sketch Challenge #75

Tara has a super duper cute sketch today over on MDS Monday for ya! I love the "snap" photo theme of this sketch as well as the "frames" in the background. I just did a global search for frames and all kinds came up in my library of downloads. The rest is chalkboard background from a Convention download and some washi tape from another download.

Do not forget that MDS printing is now available! They are have a special of 20% off printing right NOW until July 31st! I am DEFINITELY getting some projects printed! How about you?  I hope to share with you all here on a review of the printed items thru the new printer when I get them back!

I had so much fun making this page because of my friends Rachel and Shelley. When we get together at church youth events, we ALWAYS get this pose together. Sometimes it is CRAZY like the bottom photo. Which then you can see we easily can create mayhem at our youth events! I love both of these ladies and their love for Jesus and their heart for our youth kids!

You can give the challenge a try and submit your own page if you click on the MDS Monday button on the right side! Follow the directions on the site to upload your page and link it from your blog or MDS.net. Winners and honorable mentions are announced every week.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you today to get into
MDS Mondays and our challenges!

Summer Happiness - MDS Blog Hop

WELCOME TO THE MDS BLOG HOP!
A bunch of us have joined together to share our passion for digital designing with Stampin' UP's My Digital Studio.  These ladies are SERIOUSLY talented in MDS and I am thrilled to be on this Blog Hop with them! You will find us blog hopping on the 2nd and 4th THURSDAYS of each month! We will have a "theme" selected on the first hop and then a "What we are doing in MDS" on the second hop. This week we are catching you up with what we have been working on in MDS lately.
Today is our 21st anniversary! Hard to believe it has been 21 years already, over half of my life has been with this wonderful guy! We have been blessed by this friendship/marriage and we continue to ride this roller coaster called life together!

For this page, I used the download called Summer Happiness #130076 and right now in our weekly deals on Stampin' Up! it is on sale for just $5.97!!!  It includes 17 piece Stamp Set, 12 Designer Series Papers and 26 Embellishments!  I was able to mix it with several other elements that I had in my MDS program already to create this sweet page.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to go get that download today!

Happy Happy Girl - Artisan WOW

Welcome back to Artisan Wednesday WOW! We are moving on to our second to last post by the 2013-2014 Artisan Design Team! I had the opportunity to hang out with some of these fun and fantastic ladies during the Inspire Create and Share Convention last week. We made some great memories together over the past year and I hope that it continues! More to come on that! ;)  We have something "FANCY" in the works!

You just came from Cathy Caines and next is Connie Collins, but before you do come check out my scrapbook page featuring hexagon punch with the AWESOME Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Some of my favorite things on this page:
*The Beach Hose Designer Washi Tape! The color combo is Crushed Curry, Pool Party and Real Red so it was the jump start for color on the Basic Black and Very Vanilla DSP.
* The hexagon punch is a great way to showcase several side to this Specialty DSP.
* Using the Metro Type Alphabet stamp set for the title as well as the "happy" from the Amazing Birthday stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you!

MDS Monday Sketch Challenge #74

This challenge brought to this week by Beth can be so fun once you find a perfect picture for it. That one picture you move and highlight has to be placed just right in the original photo. It took me while to find a photo that worked well then the rest of the page sort of fell into place. I used the downloads called When the Clock Strikes Twelve and Glimmer Kit.

Project Life Tough Mudder

Trying my hand at Project Life® by Stampin' UP® again! We went to the Tough Mudder Race back in April to support our group friends and watch their baby boy while they did the race. PL was perfect to scrapbook this event! I took the Everyday Adventure Kit and selected the cards that had the color theme that I was going for: Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Basic Black and Basic Gray. I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and the What's Up punch too! You have to have red mud splatters being in Georgia!

Page 2

I love how they looked all clean on page 1 at top left and how they finished looking
on Page 2 on top right. Muddy and very very sore! I give my friends high praise for finishing the race! It was brutal!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope this inspires you to scrap your next event
with Project Life®by Stampin Up®!
